Special Educational Needs and Inclusion
At Earl's Court Free School Primary, we aim to ensure that all children are able to access our curriculum including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). All children may experience challenges with their learning at different times during their school career and we have provision in place to ensure that children are given the best opportunities to overcome these challenges.
Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) works alongside our class teachers and learning support officers to support children with SEND.
We recognise the importance of early identification of any additional needs; therefore, we ensure that swift scaffolding and intervention is implemented to ensure that these are addressed quickly.
When a child has ongoing additional needs, they may have a formal provision map, which will outline the Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycle of intervention in place to meet their needs. The targets are written by the class teacher, ensuring that the parents and child are consulted.
When a child has a significant individual need, we make reasonable adjustments to our provision in order to ensure that their need is met. Sometimes the schools may request support from outside agencies, such as the Educational Psychologist and Inspire Outreach Teams, to ensure our support is as targeted as possible.

Local Offer for London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
A Local Offer gives children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities, and their families, information about what support services the local authority think will be available in their local area.
